Tim is a leading authority on environmental management practices in business with over 20 years experience as the Global Quality and Environment Manager at Buro Happold - a global consultancy in the built environment. While there he introduced the ISO 14001 standard across all offices, was Editor-in-Chief of the first annual Global Sustainability Report in 2019 and led validation of their carbon targets by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi).
He has been a member of the CQI Sustainability SIG since its inception and also served as Chief Assessor on the Registration Board of the Society of Environment – the body that is responsible for conferring the Chartered Environmentalist qualification. Tim retired from Buro Happold in 2023 and began his own sustainability consultancy.
Tim is a also a Chartered Environmentalist, a Chartered Quality Professional and has an MBA from Bath University.
